RHS Chelsea Flower Show 2025: Highlights and a Memorable Week

As the gates closed on another spectacular RHS Chelsea Flower Show, we’re reflecting on what was an inspiring and unforgettable week at the world’s most prestigious flower show.

Held in the grounds of the Royal Hospital Chelsea from 20–24 May 2025, this year’s show brought together the best of horticultural innovation, garden design and plant artistry - and Agriframes was proud to once again take our place at the heart of it all.

A Celebration of Nature’s Resilience and Beauty

The overarching theme of this year’s show was “Gardens for Change” - a celebration of the power of green spaces to positively impact people and the planet. Designers embraced naturalistic planting, climate resilience and sustainable materials in stunning new ways. Among the standout Show Gardens was veteran Chelsea designer Kazuyuki Ishihara (and our former Royal Hospital Way neighbour) who was awarded Garden of The Year for Cha no Niwa – Japanese Tea Garden, his first large Show Garden.

Elsewhere balcony and container gardens continued to rise in prominence, reflecting the growing interest in making the most of compact urban spaces. The Agriframes stand was designed to demonstrate how even the tiniest plot can be rich in biodiversity, beauty and purpose - whether you are planting in stylish Zinc Planters or making your edible growing space a thing of beauty with our Elegance Kitchen Garden Range.

Royal Appearances and Garden Celebrities

As always, Chelsea played host to a glittering array of visitors. The King and Queen opened the show with their customary preview on Monday, showing particular interest in community-led gardening projects and new varieties of climate-adaptive plants.

We are always thrilled to welcome a number of gardening personalities to our own stand throughout the show - Monty Don, Arit Anderson and Carol Klein have all stopped by to see what’s new at Agriframes - and our signature arches and plant supports caught their eye more than once!

The Agriframes Stand: A Royal Hospital Way Favourite

Located prominently on Royal Hospital Way, our 2025 stand was our most ambitious Chelsea display to date - and we’re delighted to say it was a real crowd-pleaser as well as gaining a 4 Star Award from the judges. Designed to evoke the elegance and enduring charm of a country garden, the stand featured a curated selection of our best-loved structures, including the Wall Arch and our latest jute strung products from the bestselling Kitchen Garden Collection.

Visitors were drawn in by the romantic planting, beautifully created by our in-house team led by Creative Director Hannah Downey - Soft pastels, climbing roses and textural greens framed our structures perfectly, demonstrating how Agriframes pieces can create instant impact and lasting structure in any setting.

We were especially proud to debut our new Spiral Trellis at the show - crafted from solid steel and powder-coated in a soft, sage green. The feedback from customers, designers and press alike was overwhelmingly positive, with many commenting on how refreshing it is to have an alternative to traditional trellis.

A week of positivity

One of the most rewarding aspects of the show was the incredible feedback we received from customers - many of whom came to the stand to tell us how Agriframes structures have transformed their gardens over the years. These conversations mean the world to us and remind us why we do what we do.

Another highlight was conversations with visitors about the planting schemes we use to demonstrate how our zinc planters can be used to great effect in smaller spaces with obelisks supporting climbing plants, training vegetables and creating vertical interest - a reminder that the best gardens are those that are created with a little imagination and any garden - no matter what size or style - can deliver a real feast for the senses with a few carefully chosen features.

Looking Ahead

Chelsea is always a moment in the gardening calendar that both inspires and energises us - and 2025 was no exception. As we pack away the stand and return to Bristol HQ, we’re taking with us not just new connections and new ideas, but a renewed sense of purpose.

This year’s show proved that structure and style go hand in hand, and that quality materials and traditional designs can still sit comfortably in a modern, sustainably mindful garden.

Whether you joined us at the stand or followed along on social media, we’re so grateful for your support.

To everyone who visited us - thank you for making Chelsea 2025 our best show yet. And if you didn’t make it this year, don’t worry - we’re already planning something special for 2026.
